PBS or CNN or MSNBC might do the nation a public service if

they ran the documentary series Hitler's Circle of Evil (now on Netflix). It was jaw dropping. You could almost match one for one Trumps synchophants. One can not only see Trumps ignorant evil supports but one can see themselves. Who would you be?

1. PBS runs Rick Steves' "The Rise of Fascism" special fairly often.

You can see a lot of the Trump cult there, too. The clips he shows of Mussolini look just like Trump at his stupid-ass rallies.

Narrated by Peter "Tyrion Lannister" Dinklage.

All throughout so far, I see how this relates to Trump as the Tyrant platbook plays out.

I'll definitely check this out.

And I'll return the favor.

I recently discovered the PBS series "Vietnam: A Television History" has been posted on YouTube.

A truly excellent summation of the American war in Vietnam, told from all points of view. The first episode on the roots of the conflict takes us back to the 19th century and the beginning of the French occupation, and ends in 1945 with the French again attacking and invading that country, this time with US backing.

One thing I wish they'd mentioned is that FDR was adamantly against allowing the French to resume control of Indochina after the Japanese were forced to withdraw. The program does point out that Vietnamese fighters--who would eventually go on to resist the French and then the Americans--were our allies during World War II, and that the Vietnamese back then would have welcomed American support of their independence in 1945. They even modeled their declaration of independence on our own.

Another missed opportunity leading to so much tragedy, all due to our racist blinders.

Just as they see Russia as our friend, Fauci as a traitor and Trump as a great man. They live in a world that is upside-down and backwards.
