And resisting unionization isn't a good look either. Still, donating $200M to Jose Andres and Van Jones is a good thing.

I'm very Angry about the inequities in our tax system, where earned income is taxed higher than "unearned" income. And I'm angry that we don't have a single unified national income tax, where everyone has skin in the game and maybe the first 50,000 in wages or self employment income is taxed lower.

...down. Giving a fairly wealthy man a hundred million dollars? For being "Bipartisan" - like when he said nice things about Crooked Donald? I think the money could be used better... pay your taxes, I say, and treat your Amazon workers well. After that, give to people in need, if you are inclined.

Could it have been for that?

Because as a pundit, Jones is ridiculous.

... I thought it was given to Jones because he was "bipartisan" and liked to "reach across the aisle" - not sure if he said those quoted reasons exactly, or if it was a writer's way of explaining the reason for the award. I was never impressed with Jones' "bipartisan" talk.

I do like the fact that he made the awards, but the timing and overly huge amounts smack of desperation.

For some reason, I think he wants people to like him, but has no clue how to do it.
