Just got back from the local supermarket. A substantial majority of people were back to berating masks. Even a week ago very few were wearing them at the market. Clearly people are concerned about the delta variant. My wife wore one. I didn't. I'll wait for directions from Governor Lamont. He's steered me right so far.

Are people literally berating you if you wear a mask? That's horrible; surprising in New England.

(15,265 posts)plummeted. I still wear one in indoor situation and haven't gotten comments but have gotten some scoffing looks from a few older women that I suspect support the Orange Anus.

(3,796 posts)I spent the weekend in San Francisco and I'd say maybe 1 in 10 were masked and we were generally around locals.

(1,905 posts)I think I saw maybe 5 people with masks on while my wife and I were down near Comerica Park on Saturday. The bars and restaurants were packed though.
