CNN reported that Mitt had to practice sitting on a barstoolTonight's debate format will force the candidates to confront two unpredictable things: regular 'mericans and regular 'merican furniture. According to CNN's Dana Bash, Mitt Romney has been especially concerned with the latter, with campaign sources telling her that Romney has been practicing climbing and sitting on the bar stools that will be used during the debate. It's easy to mock Romney's unfamiliarity with plebeian seating, but as the saying goes, you have to walk a mile in man's bespoke slippers before you can understand him. We may be familiar with bar stools, but let he among us who would be totally comfortable in a car elevator cast the first precious stone. http://www.indecisionforever.com/blog/2012/10/16/mitt-romney-practiced-sitting-on-bar-stool Also from CNN https://twitter.com/David_Gergen/status/258346850057342976

5. Think of all the moderately priced Restaurarants that seat you at high tables with barstools
Not every table is like that, but I see a few set up that way at almost every chain or moderately priced restaurant. I never see rich people there, just people who work for a living.

Just sit back and lord over the destruction of entire companies and the lives of their workers for profit. It takes a cold heartless SOB to do that kind of "work".

But, as someone else pointed out, you don't only find barstools in bars. A lot of restaurants use them too at high-top tables.

20. Did CNN mention why? This is actually a non issue
he was in a bad car accident in France left him with hip issues...
There are so many other things to pick him for, that what is quite frankly a non issue. In fact, I know this will sound crazy, given this issue, they should have settled on two utilitarian chairs. It would have done zero difference quite frankly. |

Actually not seeing an issue where there is none to be seen or had?
Sorry. There is so much on SUBSTANCE to pick Willard on, where do you want me to start, binders come to mind. that the seating arrangement and his musco skeletal issues are a non issue. Or will you make fun of a slight disability? That is precisely what you are doing. Look, I do not sit in fancy office chairs, I have knee issues, I avoid bar stools. So am I a lesser person for that and fit for your mockery? You are right, you can get a grip yourself... CNN should have ignored that story. |

he got in France by a bullshit deferment....while protesting
anti war students the year before ..... yeah that's an issue. I don't give a fuck about his bicycle accident outside of his french fucking mansion while my friends died in Nam. He even protested FOR THE FUCKING WAR. Anyway, I got it on Comedy Central and thought it was amusing, not everything is self important posting as some egos need them to be. |

33. It adds to what the voter now sees when they look at Mitt....
...as a person who has nothing in common with the Lower 99%, and certainly not with the 47% he has already written off.
So, Romney still has "hip issues" from a 1968 car accident in France, despite undoubtedly having the best doctors treating him at the time? No mention of any hip injury in this article from 2007, and it raises some rather interesting questions. Did Mitt Romney Kill Leola Anderson in 1968 Car Crash? We Examine the Conspiracy Theories |

would that be his handmade fine Italian leather shoes that cost more to make than most Americans earn in a month?
I don't care much about his inability to perch his smarmy ass on any barstool (I, myself, would have a hard time doing that), but that last paragraph is spot on! ![]() |

because he closed the bar, sold the stools to China, sold the pool tables to France and sold the Taps to Ireland, making a HEALTHY profit!
