10. It's the Olympics

She’s taking the Olympics off.

I predicted that this would happen the week before the Olympics. My husband wasn’t so sure, but he has now learned he should listen to my predictions. 😂

The timing is perfect.

NBC has spent much time and money to get the Olympics on the air, including a delay of a year. They want people to watch the Olympics.

Rachel really needed an extended time off because the last five years have been so traumatic.

Last year, Rachel’s partner of over 20 years almost died of COVID. And Rachel couldn’t be there with her.

The next year or so leading up to the midterms are going to be ROUGH.

I agree she needs a vacations. I don't watch news anymore, but if i am up and flipping through channels. I will flip to MSNBC to see what Rachael is talking about before i flip it off because it is too depressing with no movement on the voting rights bill and the two hold outs could be what help us lose our democracy.Again, thank you.
