His life has been threatened, his family got out, but even with the military and Senators speaking up for him, he's stuck there on a technicality.

He has a very realistic fear the Taliban will kill him. Right now, he's hiding, but who knows for how long...

if we don't fix this, it will be a blotch on his record for all time. We stayed in that country for just short of 20 years, we should have stayed long enough to protect those translators.
