Regarding the Texas "rat on your neighbor" law...

…what would this do?

My vision is for every gay man in Texas and every straight Texas man who has no wife or girlfriend to post to his Facebook page “I just got back from taking my girlfriend to her abortion.”

3. My question is how does the Plaintiff prove the accused aided and abetted?

The christofascists are grade A magical thinkers, but I am wondering how the judges gets to aided and abetted even with the preponderance of the evidence burden of proof.

I just don't get other than it is a not surprising that the fascists will try anything to see if it sticks.

9. They can't. That was never the intent, only to harass women.

Give it some time, I see the evangelicals passing laws that Drs must report pregnant women to the state so they can keep an eye on them for the next 9 months.

That will not get vaccinated and something happens to the child.
Also do these people have eggs for breakfast?

Nobody has tried to even explain what they do with the natural miscarriages that happen all the time. Does the mother have to go to court and prove her innocence?

13. Grotesque is certainly one word for it. It's become clear they don't "believe in" miscarriages...

That’s how far they’ve gone into lunatic fanaticism. If you get pregnant and lose it at any stage, you are presumed to be at fault.

This will result in women avoiding necessary medical care and in some cases bleeding to death. Or in other cases, being left open to infections that can sterilize or kill them.

A very large proportion of women will experience at least one miscarriage in their fertile years. For some it is a relief — but for many others it's grief. Some women just can’t seem to stay pregnant — in my young years I knew a woman who had had 7 miscarriages. It is a form of infertility.

Can you imagine the impact of laws like this on such women?

14. Exactly. That's who I'm thinking of. I've known plenty of women over the years who had miscarriages
