imminent threat to life as we know it and we know damn well what needs to be done to resolve each impending disaster.

We just don't have the political will and courage to act.

1. I believe the "assault on our democracy" is being waged by the same interests who are preventing

any action being taken to mitigate global climate change. As this climate change becomes more deadly, and more people are made aware of the impending disaster, these economic interests are afraid voters will demand change at the ballot box.
