Biden did an amazing job, ended a forever war, dealt w/ a SHIT deal Trump left him with (especially

that 5000 person strong prisoner release) and had only one really big shit event (the ISIS-K attack, BUT we already went after them hard, AND that attack removed all doubt we could stay and foot-drag).

We got a shedload of Afghani allies out, will keep trying to get more.

The Afghan army suffered HUGE casualties over the 20 years (pisses me off to see them called cowards and worse), and they only cut and ran after it was clear we were leaving and then came the coffin-nail, when the Afghan corrupt government fled (and those fuckers had been starving them of pay, ammo, equipment, etc for close to a year).

The war-mongers, the shit press, the fucking ULTRA hypocritical Rethugs, and all the MIC and their shills can go FUCK THEMSELVES.

Superb job, Mr President!

What's most important is that the mission was a success. Biden had the courage to end it when no previous President would. The violence was to be expected under the circumstances. The loss of life was terrible, but we won't have to worry about anymore of our military getting killed in Afghanistan. Those men who died were a sacrifice to end further bloodshed.

very likely ended up in a huge escalation of hostilities, with dog knows how many lives lost then.

Harsh, but oh so true.

It was risky and I'm sure he knew that it would cause chaos, potential deaths and blowback from political enemies but he went ahead and did it anyway without any hesitation.
A pretty impressive action from "Sleepy Joe".
He must be planning out his moves while he sleeps.

1st Iraq, now Afghanistan. Syria, too. But given the foundational blueprint - The Project for a New American Century, it was a Republican fantasy...equal parts profit and hubris.

It went about as well as could be expected, given the circumstances.

He did what needed to be done years (and trillions of $) ago to best serve the interests of the American people.

His critics, well...they should be glad they didn't have to be in Biden's position, having a whole bowl of shit and a half-bowl of shit (to borrow a Nina Turner-ism) for choices, both of which had the potential for chaos and death.

Ripping the bandage off a festering wound and applying a balm to heal the infection is going to hurt. Would they have preferred that we kept putting fresh bandages on the wound while the infection continued to spread?

resolved and moved on. The leader is the one that can get beyond crisis. Others like Trump not only can't address or fine the problems but make decisions that add fire to the crisis.
