Today, the state of Texas:

1)banned abortion

2) passed sweeping voter restrictions to stop Black Americans exercising their civil rights.

These two measures are part of the same authoritarian drive: to take away power and choice from people who threaten white male supremacy.

Anyone who is up in arms about the attack on abortion rights but not about the attack on the Black vote has misunderstood what’s going on in America.
This is an authoritarian power grab. The aim is to maximise state control over the bodies of Americans of colour and white women.

I was wondering how to contact the underground railroad for abortions. Pregnant Texas women still can leave the state. There is no Dred Scott Supreme Court decision for pregnant women....yet.
