But look at the bright side. Having all those wingnut-hate-radio people, Fox news hacks and anti-vaxx-facebook influencers on the payroll was tax deductible.

(182,787 posts)Do you want to know why I think Howard Stern is going full-monster with his mockery of three fellow human beings who died of the coronavirus? Because leftists like Stern and CNNLOL and Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi and Anthony Fauci are deliberately looking to manipulate Trump supporters into not getting vaccinated.
If I wanted to use reverse psychology to convince people not to get a life-saving vaccination, I would do exactly what Stern and the left are doing
I would bully and taunt and mock and ridicule you for not getting vaccinated, knowing the human response would be, Hey, fuck you, Im never getting vaccinated!

(14,892 posts)Make sense the stopping.
Telling them to get vaccinated so they dont die is really us trying to get them not to get vaccinated so they do die. Right.

(14,853 posts)That's indeed how many right-wingers and evangelicals react to ideas and suggestions from their "liberal enemies".
Some of them might starve to death, if liberals regularly reminded them to eat.

(14,853 posts)After my last reply, I was also reminded of all the right-wing forums like "Conservative Cave" which seem OBSESSED with DU.
Some of their members might be like the General Custer character in Little Big Man, looking to DU for cues to do the opposite.

(14,892 posts)A painting by Hieronymus Bosch ca. 1505. The Prado posts an excellent reproduction and information about the work online:

The tin hat denotes the doc is likely a quack. The woman onlooker, balancing a book on her head, may symbolize science. The poor patient is likely inebriated, but in for a big surprise post-op.
