But knowing that Trump was well aware he’d lost even as he was wailing about fraud is one thing. Proving it is another. And now it looks like we have that proof. That memo was released as part of a legal filing by Eric Coomer, the former Dominion employee who is suing the Trump campaign, Giuliani, Powell and several elements of the right-wing noise machine for defamation. It cannot be stated enough folks—news reports are one thing. Legal filings are another. This amounts to DNA-level evidence that the Trump campaign damned well knew that it had lost even as it was wailing, kicking and screaming about fraud.

When I saw this alert hit my phone earlier this afternoon, it was all I could do to keep from screaming out loud what I was thinking at that very moment—“You evil sonofabitch!” Think about it, folks. The president of the United States damned well knew he’d lost, damned well knew that the lies he was spreading were causing Coomer and other innocent third parties to be harassed, trolled, and threatened—AND DIDN’T DO A DAMN THING. Now we have hard proof of it. And that also proves that when that mob stormed the Capitol, the insurrection was already underway well before then.

9. I was watching a video on Stalin during WWII last night

It touched on his background here and there. Did you know Stalin was part of a gang that robbed banks in his youth, and the loot went to help fund the Bolsheviks?

Why am I telling you this? Insurrections have outside sources of funding, because it takes the will of those trying to seize power for themselves as well as loot to payoff gatekeepers of the old guard trying to choke off the rebellion, and grease the wheels of the ragtag shock troops that carry it out. Think hard on this, the parallels between 1917 and January 6, 2021 are deeply unprobed. 1917 was not like the romance drama in the movies. It is hard history that requires study of background and serious analysis of political, economic, and power dynamics. History doesn't lie and is sloughed off by those trying to repeat it.

12. The fact is, Chump could have called it off at any time, but he didn't

Chump spent at least 3 weeks (maybe longer) trying to convince Mike Pence that he could/should de-certify the Electors from AZ/PA/WI/MI on January 6th. Chump believed (because he was told by Giuliani and Eastman) that Pence had enough latitude as President of the Senate that he could swing the outcome of the vote. If the Electors from those 4 states (and possibly one other) weren't allowed to vote on January 6th, then the election of Biden as the next President wouldn't actually happen that day. It would throw everything in doubt, and the 4 or 5 states would have to call an emergency session to vote for new Electors that would be pro-Trump rather than pro-Biden. That was the Chump/Giuliani/Eastman plan for stealing the presidency for 4 more years of Chump.

Needless to say, it all hinged on Mike Pence being willing/able to do this, and Pence said "No." For 3 weeks Pence told him "No" and Chump never listened and didn't believe him. Finally on the morning of January 6th Pence told Chump "No" for the last time and headed off to the Capitol. Chump went to his rally on the White House lawn and told everybody to "Go see Mike Pence at the Capitol and tell him to do the right thing." He also tweeted it a few times that morning. Chump sent the crazy people to the Capitol, and we all saw what happened after that.
