Someone who has had their COVID vaccines and wears their mask finds out after handing money to and receiving it from the cashier that the cashier had COVID but is all better now and then the person who gets this info hung out with a couple of friends at a picnic ( only those 3 far away from other people ) who are also fully vaccinated. Should that person be worried? Should that person not have hung out with those people the next day?

(14,118 posts)Delta raging around I've gone back to exactly what I was doing before I was vaxxed.
That is masking, distancing and sanitizing. When I go out I have my disinfecting cloth with me and use it frequently on my hands.
I don't hang out with anyone outside of my home. I don't have any control over other people and what they do so I choose to be safe. I can't afford to even get a mild
case of covid since I'm the primary caregiver for my live-in son. I have this freedom to
choose, just as you and everyone else does.
