question on the senate

I tried googling this but have yet to get the answer. Hopefully someone here can.

If Sinema does become an independent who will have the majority in the Senate?

thank you in advance

1. Depends on who she caucuses with.

Both Angus King and Bernie Sanders have chosen to caucus with the Dems to give them a majority. The Dems technically only have 48 Senators to the Republicans 50, but both the Senate's Independents caucus with us which gives us a majority.

5. The Senate is "run" by 51 votes

It doesn't matter whether or not they share a party label.
