A key Stop the Steal attorney who tried, on Donald Trumps behalf, to convince former acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen to help execute a coup and overturn the 2020 election is helping a group of Michigan poll challengers sue voting machine company Dominion Voting Systems.
And according to newly filed court documents, that Trumpist attorney, Kurt Olsen, is teaming up with celebrity lawyer Alan Dershowitz, a longtime Democrat who served on former President Trumps legal defense for the 2020 impeachment trial. Dershowitz said in a brief interview on Friday afternoon that though he is not the lead attorney on this new class-action lawsuit, he described himself as an adviser and consultant on the First Amendment issues of this case.
I consider this a part of the bigger-picture efforts, that includes my consulting on Mike Lindell and MyPillows cases, he added. I believe the election was absolutely fair, I believe President Biden is the legitimately elected president. But I think the issue should be debated and should not be censored. I believe Dominion is trying to suppress free speech.
Dershowitz also said he has had no contact with Mr. Olsen at all, and that I disagree with him fundamentally on many of the substantive issues, but thats always true with the First Amendment.

(33,643 posts)Note that Giuffre was asking a reporter she'd talked to previously to refresh her memory on what she'd said years earlier to the reporter, because Giuffre couldn't remember her own account. She's then prompted by said reporter to finger Dershowitz, just because.
In the email, Giuffre told the Mail on Sunday reporter, Sharon Churcher, she was racing to meet a deadline for a draft of what she would later describe as a fictionalized account of what happened to her.
Just wondering if you have any information on you from when you and I were doing interviews about the J.E. story, Giuffre wrote Churcher.
I wanted to put the names of some of the assholes, oops, I meant to say, pedos, that J.E. sent me to. With everything going on, my brain feels like mush and it would be a great deal of help! Giuffre added.
The emails in the court file shows Churcher responded: Dont forget Alan Dershowitz J.E.s buddy and lawyer...good name for your pitch as he repped Claus von Bulow and a movie was made about that case title was Reversal of Fortune. We all suspect Alan is a pedo and tho no proof of that, you probably met him when he was hanging out with JE.
Giuffres reply contained no reference to Dershowitz, just a simple, Thanks again Shazza, Im bringing down the house with this book!!

"Each of the plaintiffs say they filled out affidavits with concerns about the voting process in November 2020 and that none of them mentioned Dominion," explains the Daily Beast. "Nonetheless, the challengers say they still received cease and desist letters."
Interestingly, the poll challengers say that they've been grievously harmed by Dominion despite the fact that the company took no further action against them.
These assholes are babies and want everyone to be nice to them.
Dersh is really taking bad cases. This case is so stupid that it is funny

So there's that.
