Governor's spokesman is abusing his position (Wisconsin)

http://host.madison.com/ct/article_d2e1cc82-3ba1-11e1-85da-001871e3ce6c.html

Gov. Scott Walker's spokesman, Cullen Werwie, has begun to refuse interviews with media outlets that discuss the fact that Werwie has been granted immunity in a John Doe inquiry into wrongdoing by the governor's associates.

snip

There have been many complaints about abuses by members of Walker's administration. But none are more serious than those that involve denying the public's right to know - by violating open meeting rules, barricading the Capitol and withholding information. Now add to that list Werwie's attempt to manipulate acces to the governor by media outlets that choose to be something other than Walker's amen corner.

Or, as my daughter says, when the snow flies in Madison, the fur starts to fly again. She calls Werwie a mealie-mouthed, do-nothing asshat. Walker is surrounded by them.

I wonder what the hardened criminals would make of him. He has such dead eyes. Prisoners surely know evil when they see it. Maybe they would avoid him, too.

I have seen plenty of crooked politicians go down in Illinois. I am waiting for the demise of a few more, especially at the local level. They ride high for awhile, then it is over. I'd like to see Walker's arrogance come to a fitting end.
