Idaho wants MyPillow CEO to pay for costs to refute his false election fraud claim

After MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell falsely claimed election fraud occurred in Idaho, Secretary of State officials audited three counties to disprove that claim. Now, the state plans to send Lindell a bill.

Idaho Chief Deputy Secretary of State Chad Houck confirmed to the Idaho Statesman that the office plans to bill the CEO for the costs associated with auditing the three counties, a total estimated at about $6,500. Houck announced the bill on CNN on Thursday.

6. Speaking of Lindell's ads...

I just spent a week in the New England states - all of them - and was on the road quite a bit. Listening to over-the-air FM radio the whole time, I encountered Mein Pillow ads occasionally, which no longer have Swindell as the carnival barker for his products. It was a smooth-voiced professional radio charmer mouthing the sales pitch words. Also, the tawdry Mein Pillow jingle at the end was gone. Perhaps his marketing manager convinced him that his smarmy presence was ruining sales - especially in relatively liberal New England.

He thoroughly stomped Biden here, as would be expected.

However, I don’t expect Lindell to shut up. He’ll probably decide there were three counties here - Blaine, Latah and Teton, which flipped from Trump 2016 to Biden 2020 - that Trump really won. (Just so you know: Blaine County is where Sun Valley is, Teton is the closest Idaho county to Jackson Hole, WY, and Latah is where the University of Idaho is. IOW they’re the only three places in Idaho where we have liberals.)

The only proper response: “Mr. Lindell, in the words of the current and legally elected president of the United States, ‘will you shut up, man?’”
