The drug, made by Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, would be the first oral antiviral treatment for COVID-19 if authorization is granted. It comes in capsule form.

1. While I'm happy to see effective therapeutic treatments for COVID

I can't help but just shake my head at the resistance of so many people to just getting a free jab that will prevent COVID altogether if not mitigate the severity of the symptoms if you do become infected. I don't get the mentality of people like Allen West who would rather rail against vaccines and mitigation measures and seem to be fine with putting themselves at risk for severe illness. Being the healthiest person alive (or getting it once before) isn't a guarantee that you won't get severely ill and wind up on a ventilator, dead, or disabled (for which they scream and demand benefits for that they've fought against their entire political career).

He went on quite the rant about in fact and he is doubling down on his anti-mask/anti-vaxx rhetoric. Now, he is "relaxing" in the hospital.

3. I get what you are saying

but vaccinated people are also getting covid and a few have died. I stay focused on them.
I don't allow ignorant people to take away my energy nor do I allow their attempts to create stress within me.

6. I understand

I don't have a beef with vaxxed people (or people whom can't be vaxxed). Just worried about unvaxxed people using stuff like this to further justify lack of being vaccinated. I guess the positive thing is that this could help keep more of them out of the hospitals but JUST GET THE DAMNED JAB.
