ALL OF THIS!
We see from January 6th that they are entering the outright violence stage to cling onto power by any means necessary.

(5,706 posts)I remember in 1984, a Reagan supporter tried to rush the stage and attack Vice Presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro, because of her criticism of the presidents foreign policy.
This man was so crazy, that a couple men struggled to hold him back.
We can also go back to 1980, when the KKK openly supported Reagan for President.

(19,972 posts)It became apparent at their rallies in 2015-16 that they were eager to abandon civil behavior. TFG gave them the green light to go ahead and use thuggery to get what they want. Partly explains anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers, anti-mandaters, threatening behavior toward school board members and health care workers. January 6 and the Big Lie? Thugs being thugs.

(2,254 posts)..I don't understand why the threatened and intimated don't take legal action against the people doing the threatening and intimidating.
There's no recourse against the anonymous cowards who call or send letters but the the wing nut bullies showing up at the public meetings making statements like "we're coming after you" are overestimating their first amendment rights. The people chairing the meeting should calmly ask the intimidator to detail his/her specific intentions, get a name and address, then call the law or just sue the bastards...
