(47,260 posts)Being we don't see so many pics of him anymore, I find myself newly amazed at how truly ugly he is. In that billboard, he is both ugly and defeated looking.

(16,273 posts)It's just about the best depiction I've ever seen of what a pathetic, defeated, ugly loser he is!

HOW did America get to the point where they would elect such a hideous, vulgar, ignorant, lying piece of shit as our president?

(47,260 posts)But I'll go to my grave trying to figure out what on earth his supporters saw in him, while wondering how I could live side by side with those people my entire life and apparently never really knew them. It is so disturbing.

we might have another Democratic blowout in 2022.

(14,618 posts)We've already lost about 8 seats to gerrymandering between TX, GA, and FL alone. We are only up 5 now.
Add to that the dem history of not turning out in midterms, especially when we hold the wh, and we can expect the house to fall and go full q ahead; impeachments, hearings, subpoenas, and worse.
Not a given. No votes have been cast yet. But we have to get every voter to a poll. In a way, it's as important as the push to dump tfg. Who gets the house will have a tremendous impact on the 24 election cycle. They will have non-stop hearings with only republicans on the panels so no chance to redirect. It will have an impact on the electorate, especially if tfg isn't the candidate.

(19,186 posts)posted in every small town across the country, you know, in all of those "red states" where Asshole45's support was close to 100%, we might be able to make some inroads with the republican party.
People in NYC don't need to be reminded of Asshole45's shortcomings. They knew he was an ego-maniacal, bombastic loser well before he ever ran for president. Small town America needs to be reminded of this.
Donald Trump - along with his galactic-sized ego - is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country. The absolute worst!

(32,579 posts)Like it or not, Manhattan is still a major center for the media, especially TV, cable and publishing. The ultra-right executives who push the right-wing agenda in the media are mostly there, hiding among the New Yorkers who vote blue. So this billboard isn't really wasted money, the media execs will see it for sure.
SergeStorms
(19,186 posts)I know it's not wasted money, but are people in Toad Suck, Arkansas going to see it? Probably not, and those are the people who really need to see it.
I hope by some miracle they do, because Fox Noise will never show it.

(19,186 posts)Nice to know tourism has returned to pre-COVID levels. I imagine all the boarded up shops have reopened as well.
Thanks for the report.

(18,187 posts)However, where would anyone get the idea that saying "there are so many tourists in that area" equates to "tourism has returned to pre-covid levels"?
As for boarded up business in Times Square...

(12,354 posts)Maybe the Times Square ad ran for 5 seconds 3x a day?
Republicans for Voting Rights, an organization operating under Defending Democracy Together, has launched a quarter-million-dollar campaign to erect dozens of these billboards in major markets across the country, including one digital billboard right in the heart of Times Square.

(81,110 posts)Remember when they told us Get over it! ?
Well, back atcha, assholes! In our case, AlGore actually won after all the votes were counted. In their case here, Biden WON. Clearly, cleanly, and fair n square.
No wonder they cant get past this one. There was no cheating involved. Theyre so used to cheating and finagling their way to win that I guess the automatic assumption on their part, by now, is you cheated!!! And why wouldnt it be? Cuz thats how THEY roll. By cheating.
