I am taking lots of vitamins ABCD & Quercitin & zinc citrate. Vit E and aspirin to reduce clotting. I am blessed to have gotten Ivirmectin the de -covider, she wrote.
In April, Alaska Airlines banned Reinbold after she argued with airport employees about a mask mandate.
The announcement came after video footage of Reinbolds behavior went viral last week. At the time of the incident, Reinbold threatened to call the police on employees and even started to film them with her phone as she asked for their names.

The ban has complicated Reinbolds ability to go back to work because her commute from the town of Eagle River to the capital of Juneau is only accessible via plane or boat. - PoliticusUSA

(17,199 posts)from google search...........Quercetin is the most abundant dietary flavonoid. It's been linked to improved exercise
performance and reduced inflammation, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels. Plus, it may have brain-protective,
anti-allergy, and anticancer properties. Though its benefits seem promising, more human research is needed

(1,351 posts)Brother suffers from high blood pressure and I happened to read something about Quercitin helping lower blood pressure. Though he takes high blood pressure meds there are still times his blood pressure can go dangerously high.
I dont put a lot of stock in supplements and claims they will help this or that, but figured why not. Shockingly Quercitin actually DID work. After taking Quercitin his blood pressure stayed in hypertension stage 1 or normal, versus spiking up to hypertension stage 2. There was a time he ran out of Quercitin and didnt buy more for several weeks. Gradually his blood pressure climbed and he started getting spikes in hypertension stage 2 again. When he started taking Quercitin again his blood pressure gradually lowered again.
As for helping with COVID, pffft, highly doubtful. Vaccine all the way.

(17,199 posts)My blood pressure has slowly risen this past year I believe on account of the pandemic, not high enough
to be overly concerned but taking short naps when it's up a little. Think I'll try a bottle.

I belong to consumerlab.com which is a service that tests various supplements for accurate ingredients, heavy metals, etc. They dont test every single brand so Im sure there are other good (and bad) brands out there.
For Quercetin the approved brands are:
MRM Quercetin 500 mg. #1 top choice due to finer quality of powder (better absorption)
Solaray Quercetin 500 mg (This is the one my brother uses)
Solgar Quercetin 250 mg
Not approved:
Natrol Quercetin Complex: States its 500 mg but tests revealed it was 438 mg
Piping Rock Quercetin 650 mg: states 650 mg, testing revealed 587 mg.
Though not included in the Quercetin tests Ive found that GNC and Jarrow formulas always pass consumerlab tests when included.

(17,199 posts)after a short conversation, I choose Solaray Quercetin 500 mg, glad it's on the good approved list.
I'll check out consumerlab.com sometime this weekend. Thanks for all your help, talking with
individuals like yourself makes DU a great place.

(1,351 posts)I've been a member of consumerlab for over 10 years now. It's not free but it's relatively cheap (like $3 something a month). It's been worth it. There have been a few times when a brand I was considering purchasing was on the not approved list. Usually it's because the active ingredients don't match what was advertised, but a couple of times it was due to heavy metals being found! Now that's scary.
Hope Quercetin works for you. I believe it took at least 3 weeks before my brother started noticing any difference.

I was just on a cross-country Alaska Airlines flight from Baltimore to Seattle and back. I felt almost safe, even though we were on full planes both ways. They're not f-ing around with anti-maskers.

(14,173 posts)Because?....
Only a very tiny percent had blood clotting issue because they had certain conditions, and it was also only evident in one or two vaccines.
There is nothing to "reduce".
This concoction of home remedies and alternate medicines when she could have just gotten a couple of shots in the arm of a free vaccine.

Haven't contracted it and don't want to.

(19,193 posts)that having COVID increases your chance of blood clots 80X that of taking the vaccine. I think it was Dr. Patel, the one who was on Rogan's radio show to dispel misinformation about the vaccine. Rogan's callers were airing all of their bat-shit crazy conspiracy driven falsehoods and the Dr. was shooting them down faster than they could call in.
In the end, even Rogan admitted that "at risk" people should get vaccinated, so there is a chance some of the cement-headed nincompoops can be reached.

- they're probably vaccinated
- they're getting monoclonal antibodies
- are they really even sick / experiencing symptoms?
