If it is a committee vote, does there have to be a floor vote after that, or can the committee do the referral to the US Attorney directly?

I will be surprised if it is not sent to the US Attorney by the end of next week.

He will be consulting with Merrick Garland, I presume.

I suppose it would then go to a Grand Jury?

bullshit it can involve, but damn. First the report, then the vote, then the referral. Can't they expedite this somehow? Takes from Thursday to Tuesday to schedule a business meeting? I can't do this any more. I think it would be better to fold, then continue to play a losing hand.

prepare in advance for when/not if someone fails to appear. Like fill in blank spaces and push print. And, they can't vote during the day... they have to wait until 7:30 at night? There's a reason for doing it this way. I shudder to think what that could be.

convened for the expected testimony and been ready to report the matter immediately. There's nothing in any statute I can see that requires a separate proceeding so they didn't and instead have held off even discussion of reporting until Tuesday. They may not report, just convene to talk about it, though I think they likely will at that time. Bannon telegraphed his intent for weeks and it is inexcusable to let it pass without immediate response instead of these mediocre threats. This kind of nonsense is why these seditionists feel they can delay, deflect and finally defy Congress with impunity and they haven't really been wrong so far.

Until 7:30 PM this coming Tuesday for this, lets hope it’s broadcast on cspan and some networks so Americans can see that vote.

Voting to bring criminal contempt action could be a very juicy win for us.

No?

Should I not bother with the popcorn and champers??

C’mon. An old lady needs SOME sort of win…..
