(5,094 posts)She contracted it from her mother who had refused to get vaxxed. The child paid the price for her mothers selfishness. He should do the right thing and stop being selfish

(21,146 posts)immunity just because he once had covid. That kind of immunity can be limited. People have been known to contract a second case of covid. People who have had the alpha variant of covid might still be vulnerable to the more highly infectious delta variant.
As for his fear of the vaccine because of a bad reaction to a flu vaccine, that excuse doesn't hold up. They are totally different types of vaccine, so a reaction to one type has no relationship to the other.
I am allergic to flu vaccines. I also have numerous allergies and have experienced anaphylaxis twice. I got the Moderna shot with no bad effects, other than the usual ones from the shot. But even if I had had a bad reaction, the pharmacist had epinephrine shots on hand.
This guy is just an ignorant, selfish whiner.

(11,035 posts)The first issue in a child custody/visitation case is the best interests of the child. Exposing the child to a infection risk is certainly not in their best interests.
