(82,849 posts)But trying to get as many people inoculated as possible, I'm okay with the authorities trying anything they could. I know that I didn't get vaccinated to win some fabulous prize, but because it was my duty as a responsible citizen, part of the price to be paid to live in a free society.

(64,951 posts)I didn't see any uptick here in Illinois because of it.
Initial surge, slow steady climb, from mid May to now.
There's no bump in late June or July when the lottery prizes started.
I admit I thought it would incentivize but Illinois data suggested otherwise long before I saw your post.
I completely expected, at this point, that someone would coalesce the data and come to this conclusion.
