When is the next January 6th House investigation hearing? As far as I am aware they have only

had one, and that was some 3 months ago.

I have also heard a lot of talk about enforcement of subpoenas, and contempt charges being voted on next week against Bannon, but the others who have been subpoenaed will have their depositions postponed, with no indication when it would resume.

If the House voted next week for contempt charges against Bannon, I am not even sure if the Attorney General will pursue it.

I am pretty pessimistic that the committee will achieve anything. They have already lost a lot of continuity by only having one hearing three months ago, and the way it’s going, I won’t be surprised if anything is done until after the holidays.

As far as the reconciliation and infrastructure bills, it is pretty clear that the reconciliation bill will be severely limited mostly because of Manchin and Sinema, and based on the makeup in the House and Senate, I would think it prudent if we close that up ASAP, ideally before the Virginia Governor race, because it seems pretty clear that election will be viewed as a national election.

We need to start preparing for the 2022 midterms

at a single election between 2 candidates in one state as being some type of national barometer.

get so much media attention

In other words a lot of this narrative is being pushed by our illustrious media

The California recall was pushed that way, based on the recall occurring, but leaving out the fact that California has an extremely low threshold for initiating a recall, and pushing the theme that an off year election will favor republicans. Most of these false assessments being made from those outside of the state
