and the exposure of ReTHUGs as supporters of said coup.
The disconnect in the media is scary until we remember their owners.

The gqp is not in a favorable position heading into the midterms..regardless of how they paint it, and it’s on multiple levels.

Gqp..the amazing shrinking party on two tiers- disgust over 1/6 and loss of voters to covid
Only 44% of the gqp support the tfg
60+% of Americans say it would NOT be good for the country if Slobfather ran again
His endorsements to wins is abysmal

JMHO: his latest tirade about getting “his ppl” not to vote in ‘22 and ‘24 is just the beginning. If he doesn’t run, we all thought he was burning democracy down before he left office, just wait until he starts on the gqp, because that’s where his anger will be focused!

... all the media outlets that are willing to cover for them!

It proves that the U.S. voters (the majority of us anyway) are smarter than the average TeeVee pundit who can't shut up about the "Democrats in Disarray!"

IF the Dems win, then the big media corporate fascists will have a blast reporting on "new fears of voter fraud" on "suspect ballots may have been identified!" etc.

Ah, but if the Fascists win, the corporate media heads will be in a position to say they helped! MSNBC will swiftly change to Fox-lite, along with CNN. Rachel and Susan will have to move to a quiet country home, away from the invidious attacks by the "new media" which will, of course, begin reporting on the damage done to society by same-sex marriages and abortion. Anderson Cooper and his husband and child will have to do likewise, disappear for their own good. And Chuck Todd, knowing on which side his bread is buttered, will become an on the air pal of Tucker Swanson and his rodentine siblings at OAN.

I find it essential to think of the transformed GOP not as a Grand Old Party but as the Fascist movement it is presenting itself to be to the country and to the world. If the Dems win, democracy will have a brief respite while the rats in the GOP continue gnawing at its fringes. If the Dems lose, the rats take over and the people become servants to the state.

..that when the Republicans nominate a slick, deceptive candidate, they usually do better than those that show their true colors.

It is about time someone post the things that have actually happened that should be inspirational rather than posting negative predictions and foreboding doom as an attempt to motivate.

Much appreciated.
