Kudos to Nicolle Wallace

for spending a big segment of her show keeping the 1/5 DC Hotel war room in the spotlight. Kudos to Liz Cheney who again today lambasted Republicans for not having the guts to protect our democracy. Excellent show today, even moderate Clare McCaskill admitted that things weren't progressing quickly enough, that maybe the select committee would have to invoke inherent contempt and start arresting people if DOJ is lagging.

Disclaimer; I only watch Nicolle, Chris Hayes, and Rachel but I really doubt that anyone else spent much time talking about the 1/5 war room.

Elie Mystal at The Nation explains why inherent contempt is the way to go, versus criminal charges. It's a much quicker process and not likely to be bogged down by appeals, as with criminal charges.
