Excellent series on Hulu about the corrupt Sackler family and Oxy.
These people are truly monsters, stopping at nothing to make money and knowing full well what they were doing.
Michael Keaton doing an excellent job as the doctor in a small WVA town who becomes addicted himself.

(440 posts)I was given Oxycontin for my herniated disks in my back
Felt great, all day long, nice puffy clouds to climb on
Then the pain came back, and the doc upped my meds until I was on a really high dose
I took a look at where I was, sleeping until noon, going to bed at seven, not at all worried that I was laid off
I knew there was a problem and tapered off
That was one of the hardest things I ever did
Led me into a bender on alcohol for a few years
I still miss it
I still miss that feeling when it kicked in
Give me opiates when I am dying
It's a great palliative care drug
But for the living, stay the fuck away from that shit
