There is a very liberal - and very funny - monthly tabloid that more DUers should get.
"Funny Times"

Mailed by USPS, and for us ancient "dead trees" readers, it takes the place of the morning paper full of vapid local news and centrist/conservative opinion.
NOT available in digital form. Ya gotta actually hold the paper!
Witty cartoons... funny writing...News of the Weird... all from a liberal POV.
And antidote to the CNN/MSNBC/MSM drumbeat.

Small circulation, but it should be much bigger.

2. "Funny Times" is one of the great good things of this world

I've subscribed for years and bought subs for friends and family. One of my faves is Swami Beyondananda. I try to pace myself but "News of the Weird" gets slurped up the first day my issue arrives.

..like we did in the old days.
Why... I remember the time that I had to walk 3 miles - uphill both ways - to git my copy.
