Angus King

Sorry for mixing the name up. I assume that is why I got no response. I was wondering how does his vote cover for the two Dems who is having trouble voting .I ask because would he make up for a vote for the Dems? He is an independent and I am thinking that would be one vote for our side. How does that work?

He caucuses with the democrats so that is how he is counted, like Bernie Sanders who is also an independent.

When anyone talks about the Democrats having 50 senators, they are including the two of them. They formally align with the Democrats by caucusing with them and they are included in the number that gives the Democrats the majority in the Senate (50 plus the VP).

The Senate count is
50 scumbags
48 Democrats
02 independents

Because both independents, King & Sanders, caucus with Democrats that gives Democrats a 50-50 tie with the scumbags. The party of the VP determines "control" in a tied Senate. Harris also can break a tie vote.

If republicons had won the White House, VP Mullah Pence would be the tie breaker and Moscow Mitch would still be Majority Leader.

It's that close.
