As Progressives fight to get the BBB plan passed one of the obstacles

they face is Sinnemancha might calculate that passing nothing at all plays better with their voters than passing both bills.
Sinnemancha might be wrong in this thinking, but they could be considering it.

They don't give a shit about their voters. They care about their donors; they are building their retirement nest eggs.

Passing the Build Back Better bill is, shall we say, not a priority for either Manchin or Sinema.

They only care about donors -- Manchin already gutted the Medicare stuff that is popular with more than 80% of all voters regardless of party.
