Can Everyone Who Was Losing It Over AG Garland Take a Breath Now?

I even saw some ridiculous nonsense this week - some of it fomented by Thom Hartmann - that the DOJ was not acting because Garland had cut a deal with Republicans to be the nominee to replace Breyer should he step down.

The DOJ was gathering facts and making its case to a grand jury - a process done in secret. This isn't a Republican DOJ, which doesn't enforce any laws and can thus say "no" to everything quickly. Actual law enforcement takes a bit of time.

And focus on battles still to come. Not a time to focus on those who may have had concerns and worries.

Just my two cents.

And I take your point, but I can do two things at once. And the hysteria over the DOJ's patient, deliberate pace was incredible, so it's worthy of note.

The human being is remarkably poor at judging probable future outcomes, whether as actor expecting results (insurrectionists) or
observers, whose desires are not totally irrelevant to outcomes.
300-million hand-written letters to one Senator could change history.

I have heard criticism of Garland from several different quarters, not just DU. I think it was a good thing. I recall when so many were cautioning others not to criticize Mueller because he knew what he was doing and they did not have the right to criticize him. Remember that?

..... since 1/20/2021 was when Biden took office ?

We the public paid for that report,... any good reason we the public can not review and digest it in full ? Bi!ly Barr adamantly decreed it should not be released to the public. Garland could overrule Barr. Why has that not been done ?
