(3,858 posts)The observed mortality rate is not going up and with at home testing, official case counts are more underreported now. Delta looks to be more contagious, but less deadly. Which was the predictable course based on what we know about other Corona virii.

(8,701 posts)So many of the latest studies show natural immunity longer lasting. My friend still has good antibodies a yr after having Covid. Antibody tests need to be more available.

(7,408 posts)For work requirements, travel, etc. We cant eventually have someone that was vaccinated 1+ year ago count as fully vaccinated. Boosters may have to be on a 6 month rotation as the states that vaccinated many people early are now seeing hospitalizations and death rise in the vaccinated due to waning immunity.
