Will the feds step in and charge Rittenhouse?

In the racist south, the feds often brought murders to justice (after the perverted local justice systems failed) by charging them with civil rights violations. Could the feds do that in this case?

1. I don't think so it doesn't seem like a civil rights case at all

I hope I’m wrong

2. really doubtful. white killer / white victims takes hate crime off the table

not sure what else would apply, given the weapon didn't actually cross state lines either which takes a lot of federal level gun charges off the table.

3. It's more likely he'll become a millionaire on the gun show circuit

That crowd would giddily pay $50-$100 or more to have a selfie and have him sign their gun. Had he killed a couple of black men he'd REALLY be in for a massive payday.

5. I don't think the elements of a civil rights violation are present,

and there might be some double jeopardy issues.

7. No. Unfortunately this case is over. DOJ won't touch it.

I don’t think the families of the victims will even prevail in a civil court since “the boy with the illegal AR-15 was threatened with a skateboard”.
