It might be helpful for us to make a list of all the things that were on our "gotta do" list when

President Biden was inaugurated.

I'll start with our need to cleanse the federal judiciary of most of Trump's appointees which were rubber-stamped by McConnell's Senate, including Kavanaugh. Some of these Trump ass-kissers are profoundly stupid and many are pledged to greenlight the RWNJ agenda.

They need to go!

vary from judge to judge. Just an example: there is the strong likelihood that Kavanaugh lied under oath at his confirmation hearings. Such perjury must surely be an indisputable basis for impeachment. If Republicans in Congress don't think so, let them tell that to the American people when they vote to keep him.

As for lower court judges, I am confident many are committing impeachable ( if not "prosecutable&quot offenses as you read this. They just need to be watched.

Will this comb all of the incompetent ideologues out of Uncle Sam's beard? No, but it will ease the right-wing bias and may deter future sycophantic nincompoops from seeking a seat on the federal bench.

And there is zero political will to do any of that or else someone would have started to do it.

I wish that Speaker Pelosi could trade places with Chuck for a month to get S1 passed.

President Biden ran on BBB but most people realized that if the infrastructure bill was passed first BBB would be doomed.

I guess that leaves me with choice #3, Merrick Garland appoint a special counsel to investigate the seditious coup attempt against our democracy and put in guardrails to prevent him/her from being dismissed, just like Barr appointed John Durham who is still trying to dig up dirt on the Bidens.

We don’t “cleanse” Court Judges. We replace them when they retire. None of Trump’s Judges are going to be Impeached and removed.

I am concerned with their competence, not their personal hygiene.

As expected, your concept of what is possible is limited to what has been done before. If the Founding Fathers had had that attitude in the 18th century, we'd still be British colonies.

Simple question: Any Democratic Senator could introduce an Impeachment Resolution for any Judge or Justice at any time. They haven't. Which one will and when?

(answer: none and never).

And that doesn't even address the point that you'll need 1/3 of the Republican Senators to join the Democrats in voting to remove them from office once Impeached.
