Trump Had No Intelligence Briefings After January 6
November 30, 2021 at 7:56 am EST By Taegan Goddard

Daily Beast: “After a holiday break where he didn’t receive a classified intelligence briefing, President Donald Trump was supposed to get one on Jan. 6, 2021—the day he incited a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol. It didn’t happen. And then he didn’t get one for the rest of his presidency.”

“The situation in the waning days of Trump’s presidency was so uncommon that it actually caused concern among some administration officials that Trump was losing touch with reality, as he was getting unhinged advice on domestic issues from Justice Department attorneys and outside counsel that openly advocated rejecting election results.”

It's a waste of time and he clearly showed it by limiting the briefing scope. He just never trusted or cared for the briefing. He was a clear danger to our country and I don't get why republicans don't see that.

If Bush was bad for ignoring the 911 warning sign, Trump was 100 times worst. He just got lucky that no 911 type attack happened because he would have ignored all of the warning signs.

dumb down the briefings to a kindergarten level for any hope of understanding on Trump's part. The thing that got "administration officials" worried was if something broke bad and Trump wasn't in the loop, they would look responsible simply because he wasn't in the loop and they did and said nothing about it. He was out of touch with reality and getting unhinged advice for the previous almost 4 years and I doubt the briefings were of any small help.

large font bullet point under 1 page. And he doesn't really trust or believe anything the intelligent community offers anyways. So he simply viewed the briefing a waste of time as he would either challenge what was said or simply ignores it. I still remember he ordered milk shakes during one of the briefings. His mind is on food/drinks rather than what's going on in the briefing. That's how much he "valued" the briefings.

He came pretty close to pulling it off. He has, so far, suffered no consequences and is in a position to try it again.

Treasonous dirtbag, yes. Lost touch with reality? You wish.

He was receiving the full PDB on a daily basis.

I'm sure his buddy MBS was enjoying learning about all of that.

Thousands of incidents document his behavior yet there is still some
expectation he will act as a normal person.
Maybe next time. Good grief.

Not that I fell sorry for that miserable asshole but the loss was crushing to him. There’s no way to spin it or retell it and he knows it. Yes he’s tried and he’s gifting off it but that tiny sliver of soul that he has to have is damaged.
