(38,417 posts)I think she will be primaried and lose. Yes, she will have enough money..but in the end..it is her end.
She is a goon who thinks she can get away with saying anything. National leadership wants her out..and
out she will go. (if you think "National Leadership" does not want her out, then you can hide too.)
NO,.. IN POLITCS YOU CANNOT SAY ANYTHING
National leadership does not want to lose that seat to a "D"..and she will be gone with a song..

(6,829 posts)MTG is in for life.
Republicans are never going to kick her out. Hell, McCarthy even said he'd give her better committee assignments in 2023 if Rs win back control of the House. He's going to reward her

(6,544 posts)She is pissed off, and has challengers, unlike the last election. Two of them are very good, one of which is a highly respected veteran.
There is, indeed, hope

(10,170 posts)We all know party loyalty is #1 for them. If shes seen as a threat of damaging the party overall shes going to get cut loose by them. She thinks she can make it on her own, maybe she can. Well see.

(10,270 posts)Make an example of her.
Everyone having the idea in their little pea brains, that disrespecting Trumps Man the way she did is the same as disrespecting trump himself (i.e., hang her fucking head on your office wall kevin) and the rest of the children on the island will start fearing your wrath and respecting you.
In other words, maybe act like nancy pelosi a little bit (yaknow, a REAL House Speaker), and maybe just maybe, that will work betterz for ya, Kevs.

(13,491 posts)are a disaster. The Senate Republicans hold a much tighter ship.
It should even out, but the news really likes to portray us as being a mess. While we can tighten some things up... I can not for the life of me imagine any two democratic congresspeople going after each other the way that MTG and Mace are.
I have to admit, it's fun to watch, though. (And I feel SLIGHTLY for Mace bc MTG is of the devil. Mace is just a simple, old fashioned opportunist.)

(17,152 posts)FU was a conservative party whip. He was known for, 'Putting a bit of stick about'.
McCarthy is barely, if at all, on top of the rabble that calls itself Congressional Republicans. They are undisciplined under an exceptionally weak Repub leader. It makes me wonder what instructions McCarthy is receiving from the upper echelons of the republican party.

(3,527 posts)The MSM is in love with that phrase. Its like an advertising slogan; once they came up with it they just cant stop using it. Thats what media coverage has been reduced to.
We need a NEW slogan to describe Rethug infighting. Republicans in remission? Republican racism relapse? Anybody? Anybody?
