Covid hits one of my younger cousins, and his wife...

Ugh.

They now live in a Rural Christian Community. Have two kids ?7 & 4. Love them a lot. He's funny, and she's very creative. Last time I saw them was '19 Christmas gathering.

He was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital a little while ago while his wife is home with the kids.

Hopefully he'll be given those monoclonal
(?) antibodies.

His mom is one of my favorite cousins. He's 40 something and has got two 2 younger siblings, both with partners both here in the NJ, NY area, as is my cousin and her partner in NJ.

My sis is feeding me the news by text.

In fact that's why my sis and I aren't going to my cousin's house for Christmas bc they're coming up to bring my cousin her grandkids.

Luckily we did see her, and partner , and another cousin first time since Xmas '19 two weeks ago. 💖

Love trumps. My grown sons and their wives have fallen for the anti-vaxx messages. I love them very much, they are bright, good family men. Just surrounded by the wrong set. I am anxious for them but know how little good it would do me to say anything.

I hope your cousin does well and that no one else in his family gets sick.

19. To let u know while my cousin still has covid he was rushed to the hospital because he fainted...

seemingly not related to covid. Being sent home today.

My sib thinks not eating enough, and dehydration.
Maybe we'll find out more at some point.

If he survives I hope he learns a lesson from the experience (although given the behaviour of other anti-vaxxers in "rural Christian communities" that's probably asking too much).

21. Unfortunately, yes. 😔 ...

He, and his family only moved there in the past ?2 yrs though they were Christians way before that.

He lived in San Fransisco as a kid, most of his life in a North Jersey town, and the past ?10 years Connecticut suburb.

I'm sure hoping this changes his mind! 😔
