I'm skeptical, because in a just world this p.o.s. would have been prevented from ever getting near the levers of power by those in a position to stop him, who knew exactly what he is and how much damage he would so.

(22,853 posts)the wheels of justice just turn far too slowly. if he was 40 i would say a resounding yes, but he will delay, stall, appeal, cheat and coup his way through the rest of his days. his lawyers will be busy, he will be golfing.
indicated? i say yes. but not convicted.

(540 posts)My Dad was the controller and lead HR guy at the law firm where Rudy Giuliani worked.
My dad knows all these crooks, he personally fired Giuliani for his shenanigans.
A lot of powerful people would have to fall before TFG and that will never happen nationally or even in the Southern District of NY.

(42,770 posts)turn on him right. IOW, let's just say one of them had a recording of trump talking about how he was going to perpetrate a crime. There is ZERO reason to rat him out. Unless there is leverage - a serious crime that they themselves have committed.

(22,729 posts)One could go on and on, but presidents have been Teflon to date in accountability. One hopes Trump's crimes being so obvious and so easy to prosecute would change that, but so far we're not seeing it. Perhaps his taxes will make it unavoidable, though.
