(15,124 posts)Professor Lawrence Tribe does and he is also wondering aloud---in print and on TV---why in the world the AG hasn't begun an intensive investigation and impaneled a Grand Jury.
I just heard him on Chris Hayes saying this should be done "yesterday" and that there already appeared to be sufficient "public evidence" to charge Trump with "crimes".
It is not unreasonable or ignorant to question the AG's inaction in the face of a continuing effort by Trump and company to override elections and seize power.

(146,287 posts)internal actions at the DOJ than anyone else. If the DOJ, as I think, is working hard to prevent leaks about its efforts, nobody who is not employed by that Department has any advance knowledge of what is going on.
Lawrence Tribe has an opinion. Most of us have an opinion about the DOJ. What none of us have is knowledge of its operations and actions, until they are announced. Lawrence tribe, as you say, is "wondering." That is different from "knowing."
Of course, I have no special knowledge about current internal workings at the DOJ, either. The difference is that I am not speculating about it. I simply don't know. I'm very hopeful that investigations and other actions are going on apace.

(146,287 posts)My parents died in January. My sister has advanced Alzheimer's. We have a sick cat. People are falling ill all around us. My wife and I will have Christmas together by ourselves, out of necessity.

Two other prominent top staffers in the Trump administration Stephen Miller and Cliff Sims are also expected to serve in advisory roles. Several others, including Kellyanne Conway, Tony Sayegh, Matthew Pottinger and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is running for governor in Arkansas, are also supportive.

(32,634 posts)She pretty much packed up and left the White House THEN and never came back.
Stephen Miller stayed loyal to Chump but once he lost, Miller scooted. FWIW I don't think he participated in "Stop the Steal." Or if he did it was all behind-the-scenes stuff. The closer to January 6th, the more obvious it was that rank amateurs were writing Chump's speeches and press releases. It sure looked like Miller had already "left the building."

(32,634 posts)She said in the interviews (attributed to her) that she was very upset that almost nobody was masked at WH meetings. She was masked but it didn't matter, she got the virus anyway. Chump tried to blame HER for getting HIM sick, and that was total bullhockey.

(3,240 posts)Doesn't their mob of so-called "patriots" notice that these scumbags aren't standing up for their distorted view of what is right?
You would think the Trump supporters would expect their leaders to stand bravely ( ) before the committee as they openly admitted to everything they were doing.
I knew their base was dumb, but come on.
