His podcast reaches tens of thousands if not millions. That is not good advice. Why it's could be called disinformation.

Rogan wound up voting third party in the 2020.
Rogan continues to express his annoyance with the entire election process, deeming the polls to be answered exclusively by "morons." When Kyle Kulinski suggests that 2018's mid-term outcome may have been a moment of early foreshadowing, Rogan claims that it's a "small fraction" compared to the Presidential election.
"It's a gigantic difference. The ramping up of the Joe Biden shit over the last few months is ridiculous. The media is ignoring all his gaffes, ignoring all the corruption, ignoring all the Hunter Biden emails. Ignoring the shit with Twitter, where Twitter banned the New York Post. That stuff was bad. Nobody thinks that's a good thing."

Planet of the Apes didnt take place in Africa. Ultimately, Rogan said it was a positive experience and then he proceeded to imitate the way Black people were talking to him."

(68,552 posts)Podcaster Joe Rogan has canceled a Vancouver show that had already sold out after complaining about COVID-19 vaccine requirements in Canada.
Rogan recently said on his popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience that although he had a sold-out show scheduled for April 20 in Vancouver, "I don't think that's happening" because he has not gotten a COVID-19 vaccine and doesn't plan to. Rogan previously recovered from COVID-19, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says those who have had the coronavirus should still get vaccinated.
"I don't think I can even get into the country," Rogan said. "I'm not vaccinated. I'm not going to get vaccinated. I have antibodies. It doesn't make any sense. I don't think I can go."

And those clogging the hospital are the anti-vaxers according to our republican governor. There is no indication that a cold-like virus will ever truly engender natural immunity. Joe Rogan called gay and transgender people the 'most vicious' upholders of cancel culture in a rant on his podcast.
Rogan, 53, claimed on his July 21 episode of the Joe Rogan Experience that gay and transgender people have 'been bullied' and are now coming after people who are not members of the LGBTQ community, as spotted by Mediaite.
'You know what the thing that's going on with the left - a lot of it is, they're being bullies and a lot of the people that are progressive, that are really like open-minded, unfortunately, there is a lot of people on the left that were bullied by a**holes when they were young,' Rogan said on the July 21 episode of his podcast.

For example:
'But Rogans popularity is owed in part for his vocal rejection of political correctness, which can take the form of transphobia (he once called trans woman mixed martial artist Fallon Fox a fucking man), Islamophobia (hosting guests like the far-right Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, who used his appearance to argue that Muslims are too inbred for the US to accept as immigrants), and racism (he once compared a black neighborhood to Planet of the Apes).'
He has on Nazis and other shit kickers...
The Joe Rogan Experience. And despite the fact that he has given this platform to the likes of Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, and other far-right, transphobic, and anti-feminist trolls, Rogan still has the most listened-to podcast in the country. In 2020, he made a $100 million deal with Spotify to be his exclusive streaming platform. And the closest he's gotten to being silenced is when, shortly after that deal, Spotify quietly removed episodes with Jones, Yiannopoulos, and comedian Chris D'Elia, who was accused of sexual misconduct involving teenage girls. Despite all that, Rogan is still free to say whatever the hell he wants to say when he wants to say it.
When people get mad about the dumb shit Rogan says on his podcast, he usually responds with a common refrain. As he said in February of 2019:
Theres certain people that Ill have on, whether its Alex Jones or anyone thats controversial, where people who get fucking mad. Why are you giving this person a platform? OK. Hmm. I didnt think about it that way, and I dont think thats what Im doing. I think Im talking to people, and you can listen.
I suggest you self delete...Rogan is a walking right wing talking point ....

(101,306 posts)I know you and Media Matters more broadly cover the wider world of the right, so places like Fox and OAN. Do you see any parallels between that world and Rogans?
Yeah, I completely see it as related. Rogan is someone who celebrates himself as being a so-called independent thinker who has both conservative and progressive values, and I think that perfectly illustrates our general media landscapes bend towards right-wing views and over accommodating ring-wing views and not challenging right-wing misinformation. So I think he plays a pretty central role in that landscape, and hes also deeply connected to the network of conservative media. He hosts Ben Shapiro. He hosts Alex Jones. Hes a huge supporter of Tucker Carlson, who we know is Fox News hate-mongerer-in-chief. I think he plays a central role in the right-wing misinformation system.
...
Have you seen any specific moments where you think YouTube would have moderated his content, but Spotify doesnt?
Oh, yeah, absolutely. We do a lot of work at Media Matters around tech accountability and terms of service, and generally, I would say social media companies are failing to regulate right-wing extremism on the internet. And Spotify has some of the least, almost non-existent, terms of service to protect users and the general public from hatred and targeted violence. Joe Rogan has misgendered and denigrated trans youth on his podcast and never faced any consequences. We have seen YouTube take some steps to remove content thats similar to that, and YouTube has a policy against promoting COVID-19 misinformation. Thats become the central core of Rogans podcast, and Spotify, including CEO Daniel Ek, has refused to take any action against Joe Rogan.

Rogan is probaby trying to appeal to a wider audience and trying to appear less right wing . It's safe for him to name Michelle Obama because there is no way she is going to run for anything and she has made that clear. So he can try to get some points for supporting a liberal black woman without actually having to do so because she will not run .
Meanwhile continue to ignore the black woman who is actually in line for that job and has been actually doing the hard work to help Biden with his Agenda. She has been doing many things that a President would . But those things are boring to the media to report on so they focus on bs Gossip .
