and Aldi's hands me the rest in a nearby city. The least amount of contact for me, the better.

having things that are packaged and shipped is a godsend. I do pickup at Aldi's when I'm in town.

Google say some grocery stores and big box stores deliver in NYC

Googling found:
“Get your groceries delivered in New York, NY”
https://www.instacart.com/grocery-delivery/ny/near-me-in-new-york-ny

Locally (N.M.) several chains deliver
Walmart
Kroger

You might check your local grocers online websites.

in NYC costs 9.99$ or 14.99$ (Depending on availability). Curbside is free. Why pay the extra if you have a car and can book the curbside?

As for NYC: most grocers don't have parking lots for curbside delivery.

I guess I mean to say, they're still a "specialty" store, but what they do have is excellent quality and freshness.

Here in Pittsburgh we can get free same-day delivery if your order is at least $35. For me that's actually better than curbside pickup because the closest store is more than 10 miles away.

I order delivery from WF too, but you pay a premium for delivery at either one and sometimes WF doesn't have what I am looking for. We have a huge amount of variety here in Boston. I would imagine you would have even more in the greater NYC area.

Thank you shipt and HEB. I tip well for their service. ❤️

They've kept me safely away from the crush of anti-maskers. I'll probably still catch omicron, but not from the grocery store.
