On this New Years Day, I've decided that
the Left needs a Limbaugh equivalent. And the best part is he and/or she just has to tell the truth and NEVER BACK DOWN!!
What happened to Kathy Griffin is an excellent example of what not to do. She cut the head off a representation of TFG and instead of doubling down, she accepted her new “notoriety “ and vanished for a while. TFG is a Hitlerian danger…yes…we should use that appellation continuously and should have all along. These RW assholes call us commies and socialists and compare our people to those in Nazi Germany. And we just sit back and cluck-cluck and pout. Two can play that game and we can do it better if we try because we have MUCH MORE MATERIAL TO WORK WITH.
We need a really glib, reasonably attractive, not Ivy-educated, funny, aware, Carlin-esque individual who is fearless. To fund this all we need is just one progressive billionaire. And when the individual is attacked,(s)he doubles down and says “Yeah. You’ve got Murdoch and we’ve got so and so, so kiss my petunia.”
Now I know you’re gonna say that we shouldn’t lower ourselves..etc. I say. Bullshit. I’ll plumb the deepest depths COMPETENTLY in order to win. Now I also know you’re gonna say that we don’t have anybody but that’s untrue. Hell, I could do this except I went to an Ivy…so I do t qualify for my own rules. But you know what else? There are no rules. We gotta kick ‘em in the balls. (If you don’t get the allusion see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. ). I say: go for broke: we are one election away from Nazism. This is no bullshit, and this is not a drill. Repeat: this is not a drill.
