This has been the Republican platform for some time now:

(16,926 posts)The 'principles' that they have are NOT meant for the betterment of Americans (well, unless you're a rich, white 'RepubliQan').

(9,760 posts)unfortunately, successful RW propagandists ever.
Remember when, in a TV interview, he claimed crime had increased. When the interviewer told him the stats proved that a false claim, he said that didn't matter.
What mattered was that people "felt" as if it were true. That what they felt was more important than the truth.
I wish the interviewer had said, people only "feel" that way because of the disinformation you and other Rs push for the precise purpose of making them feel that way!

(2,120 posts)....Repubs were indoctrinated to use to disparage the dems was tiresome back then, but are now just part of the usual playbook. Propagandist is the perfect word, but I would have added smarmy.

(11,560 posts)Republicans have it in spades!
I have made it simple in my thinking:
#1 Every single thing coming out of a Republican Politician, or Republican Voter's mouth is Hypocrisy
#2 Every single thing coming out of a Republican Politician or Republican Voter's mouth is a flagrant LIE
#3 Every single thing coming out of a Republican Politician or Republican Voters mouth is 180 degrees from the truth or reality
And everything the commentator said in their long list, of course.....
OH, and everyone should watch the movie "DON'T LOOK UP".............

(53,998 posts)The Democrats became the party of civil rights, balanced budgets, and restricting state sovereignty in the 20th C... and in the 21st the Republicans became the party of "Let's burn this motherfucker to the ground!!"

(36,038 posts)of course turtle wouldn't believe in government.
In corporate controlled Washington DC, elections are for show on the white nationalist corporate campus, where market values are the rules. The former democratic republic is now a 21st century plantation, order is for commerce, human targets are the product, and law is for suckers.
Then you own the soul of America.
