MO Rep. Justin Hill (R) Resigns today ...to spend more time with Liz Cheney

Reminder: Today, the former head of the Missouri Republican Party is due before the Jan 6 Committee to give a deposition about working one of Alex Jones' operatives on the attempted coup d'état.

The Missouri State Rep who skipped his swearing in on Jan 6, 2021 TO ATTEND THE ATTACK ON THE U.S. CAPITOL has resigned to spend more time with Liz Cheney.

Replying to @CaseyNolen

at least in the short term.

"Hill’s departure likely means there will no longer be enough Republican representatives alone to override any of GOP Gov. Mike Parson’s possible vetoes without Democratic support. The threshold is 109 lawmakers, and currently, there are 110 Republican House members.

On top of Hill’s planned resignation, Republican Rep. Aaron Griesheimer previously told the Missourian that he’s also leaving for another job. Without the two of them, there will be 108 Republican House members."

Maybe Hawley will go down in the J6 purge as well.
Hawley's sitting in Claire McCaskill's seat right?

I freakin love that woman. We could use her seasoned skillset right now.
Hard to a be a Dem in that State.

I like her better in the Senate than Hawley, but I like her better on MSNBC than I liked her in the Senate.
