I guess I am just done with reading tea leaves and listening to the punditry

read them as well.

Burned way too many times. I’ll believe something serious is going to happen to these traitors when something serious happens to these traitors. By that I mean put on trial.

Cynical yes. But in my mind and with past experience, it is just less draining.

The job of pundits is to get your eyes on the screen or to pick up that paper, or click that headline. While there are people we tend to trust more than others, at the end of the day, they are just giving their opinion, based on some experience, or some tidbit they may have gotten from an "insider" closer to the action.

One of the major problems with ALL media today, is that the purpose is engagement, not necessarily information. When we had the 3 legacy broadcasters, local reporting, and the papers, we received information on their schedule. Sure there was the "Extra" or "Breaking News", and sure there was a motivation to sell copy, and advertisement, but you basically got your news from places with a large "newsroom" where research was done and bad stories hurt the reputation.

These days "hard news" has given way to speculation. You have one or two big stories, then you have endless analysis and opinion on them. "So and so said...."

I try to take what the pundits say with a grain of salt and look for trends or hard news the actually means something apart from speculation.

I don't need anyone to pile on, it's red handed in our face, show a jury, sentence the evil assholes, done.

As long as Waddle Dump dies in prison for his dereliction of duty, the rest I'd just take 100% of their money/property as payment for crimes, and then exile them all to a 3rd world country with flip flops, Bermuda shorts, and a tank top while blind folded in a major city there at noon with enough to buy one meal at the place we leave them.

And a great deal to shatter such faith.

Despite the claims of the DOJ-faithful, we have no evidence that any action against any of the main players is forthcoming. Yes, The Process is secretive by nature, but I'll err on the site of cynicism and be therefore correct more often than not.

And if I'm wrong? Great! I will dance in the streets to celebrate my error!

As I said elsewhere, time is running out to hold people responsible for this, and I’m getting tired of being told to be patient because things are happening behind the scenes. Meanwhile, it seems everyone involved in this — Bannon, Flynn, Trump, et. al. — is giving us all the middle finger.

I hope I’m wrong, and that by the end of the year we’ll at least see some kind of criminal referral of some of these major players, including those in Congress who aided and abetted. If that happens, I’ll gladly admit my mistake, too. But I think that’s asking way too much.

If, after all of this "trust us, it's working" silence and apparent inactivity, it turns out that none of the key players is held accountable, that failure by Garland et al will be far more destructive to the republic than 10,000 Trump-fluffing kkkultists storming the capitol.

that if Trump isn't around, there will overnight be hundreds of Repubs announcing their campaigns that very day.
DeSantis probably already has his campaign organized and lawn signs printed, ready to be distributed across the nation.

The day Trump croaks from fat filled arteries and get's "planted".... millions of Dems are going to travel to his grave.
Someone speculated that there won't be a single blade of grass around his grave, that they will need to install a football field sized concrete apron around his grave, complete with drains..........

Climate change is going to punch most everyone in the face here soon enough and each of us does have some control on how we, as individuals, can adapt to it. Because focusing on how world leaders try or not try to mitigate it, something beyond our control, is no a profitable expenditure of time.

If you think they are going to leak out info, remember these are Trump’s bottom of the class, bottom of the barrel morons. They know better than to show their hands until it is rock solid checkmate.
