underestimating, overestimating or estimating...

...as Dems, are we underestimating, overestimating or accurately estimating the threat trump poses to our country and democracy?

...some seem to think he's not that big of a problem...some seem to think he's Satan incarnate out to destroy everything...others seem to believe were on the right track to a safe and secure outcome...

...a lot of what's going to happen along with the corresponding outcome will depend on how we act, react and define the threat...I'm of the belief that we're still underestimating trump and that this demon is not going anywhere...

...what trajectory do you think we're on?

If they relent on a voting rights filibuster carve out, democracy has a chance to survive.

It's down to this: your job or the nation? If you can't, maybe it's time for you to find a different job.

..it's a fact. Trump and the GOP are a clear and present danger to the future of our Democracy. Without some legislation to reverse state legislation that's already on the books, with more to come, the take-over is inevitable. And it won't really matter who runs on the GOP 2024 ticket.

I don't really think it'll matter if Trump, Meadows, Perry, Jordan et al. go to jail...the pro-Trump/Big Lie faction is determined to "take back what is rightfully theirs." With that thought in mind, successful federal legislation may not make any difference. If they don't get an elected Republican in 2024, they may well attempt a forceful take-over and just appoint one...

That possibility is a point to estimate, over or under...and I personally am not underestimating. I just can't get my head around how many are actually willing to do it but there is a large number and includes military, ex-military, law enforcement, ex-law enforcement, law makers and all the frickin' Jan 6 type kooks.
