Lindsey Graham just threatened Mitch McConnell over TFG

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.

Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:
"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...
"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

I honestly could give less of a shit who wins... I'm just enjoying watching TFG's cult destroy each other in order to be this weeks head sycophant... Just too funny

(Defeated D.....T....) my leader. I'm guessing that makes all these former, "leaders," of Republicans probably experience a gag reflex every time they have to call their crook, "their leader," but it fits. The Republican party has been nothing but our largest organized crome outfit since 1968 and the Nixon candidacy.

for leader look really, really, really good.

Remember tRump's admiration of the fear NK's dictator engenders in his people. He couldn't have us all frightened to get a smudge on the portrait we all display by law in our living rooms, but he could make smaller targeted groups and individuals extremely afraid and everyone far too sensible to risk offending...a neighbor.

I definitely would have a choice if I thought I had one.

"How many elections are they going to steal before we kill these people?"

After watching that video my husband asked me, "Who do you think he means? Kill democratic congressmen? Kill democratic candidates? Kill people with democratic yard signs & bumper stickers?" I told him, "All of the above."

in areas of resistance where encouraged, or where local leaders incited it.

A new regime over 330M people requires control, of course. Life as usual, work, school, groceries, home. Idiots like that would need to learn quickly what militarized police and troops were there for.

the adult who would keep the administration's impulses and incompetencies under control? He and McCain. I guess when McCain died Graham, like the schoolyard coward that he is, fled to the protection of the bully-in-chief.

I never had any hope or faith in the dude whatsoever, and somehow he still managed to be a disappointment.

Lindsey Graham says he won't back Mitch McConnell for Senate GOP leader unless McConnell has a 'working relationship' with Trump

Sen. Lindsey Graham has hit out at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, saying he won't back McConnell to lead the GOP unless McConnell has a "working relationship" with former President Donald Trump.

Talking to the Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday, Graham slammed the Senate minority leader for his broken-down relationship with the former president.

"Elections are about the future," Graham said. "If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with President Donald Trump."

He added that he saw Trump as "the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan," though Trump doesn't currently hold any public office and has not officially declared a 2024 presidential bid.
