Technically, all the individual actions were legal, or at minimum, very difficult to bring criminal charges against him for.

TFG is an honestly an expert at walking a fine line between legal and criminal.

Even if the creation and submission of fake slates was illegal for the people who tried it (not even sure THAT is true sadly), you think DOJ is going to prosecute a former president just because he 'knew they were going to do it'?

Sadly I just don't think we have the laws in place to hold TFG accountable for basically anything he did on Jan. 6 (or the planning stages of it).

Maybe with the attempt to interfere in GA we get him on that with some kind of charge, but not even that is a remotely sure thing
