Watch How Republicans Eliminate The Filibuster When They Regain Control Of The Government.

I'm calling it. In the same position as Democrats are now, Republicans will eliminate the filibuster to pass their agenda. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin are naive fools and afraid to make power plays. Republicans aren't. It's costing us. Republicans are already rigging the voting system with voter suppression laws and because these two senators we're unable to do anything about it. Democrats will do much worse in the next two elections because they keep torpedoing our agenda. When will Democrats learn to take the kid gloves off?

Just Sinema and Manchin.

But I absolutely agree that the Republicans will eliminate the filibuster. The way they held up Supreme Court nominations or rushed them through, depending on who was doing the nominating, shows that they only care about minority party's rights when they are in the minority.

will never give up the filibuster, because they need it when the Democratic party is in the majority. Unlike the Democratic party who have a hard time just getting a majority vote because of two MODERATE Dems, the Republicans push what they want right through.

Republican priorities, judges and tax cuts, are already carved out or available through budget reconciliation. They haven't had any other governing initiatives in 3 decades.

we should call it like it is. Manchin and sinoma are beholden to someone and it's not President Biden or the Democratic Party or Democracy. These imbeciles would protect the nonconstitutional filiburster at the expense of constitutional voting rights. They are bought by someone.

I think they're both smart enough to know how they're helping Republicans sabotage democracy. In this case, calling them smart enough to know is not a kindness.

not because they have anything relating to a principle, but because the filibuster benefits them and hurts us. They care about 3 things, appointing people (no filibuster), cutting taxes (no filibuster), and increasing defense spending (bipartisan so never filibustered).
